If the Saints have a Top 3-4 pick in 2026…very likely……

1). QB will be Priority.

2). If for some reason they don’t elect or can’t pick a QB… an Impact DL, with pass rush ability, will be the choice.

3) . If the QB or DL can’t be addressed…. I think they go CB or WR.

4). For any other team, trading back in the draft and gathering extra picks would be an option…BUT NOT with Loomis !!

The problem is that Mikey thinks we aren't in a rebuild. We are fine.

I'd be ok with just selecting a good player.

Agreed. QB no matter what if you think he’s a franchise QB. After that, a dominant NT would be great piece for Staley to work with.

I firmly believe that:
1) No QB is coming in and winning with this team. Prime Tom Brady would struggle to win 9 games with this team.
2) A QB is not a magic bullet that automatically makes your team good.
3) More high round QBs are busts or don’t live up to the hype than those that do become superstars. (Burrow is the exception, but look at guys like Caleb Williams, Kyler Murray, Trevor Lawrence, Josh Rosen, etc. compared to Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Hurts, etc.)

That being said, we let the QBs we have play the season out. If they show promise and play well we will be picking in the teens and we pick BPA and build around them. If they don’t play well, we pick top 5 and pick between Nussmier, Klubnik, Sellars, Allar or whoever emerges as the “it” QB by the end of the year.

Pick needs to be a DL, DE, CB, WR, or QB.

Those positions cost the most and you can save a lot if the player is on a rookie contract.

Rebuilds take many years….
It’s a Long drawn-out process.!

But if you can find your franchise QB early on within the process….you can show hope for the organization.

If we pick within the Top 3-4… which is likely given what we’ve seen from the Saints on the field so far…. we have a CHANCE to find our franchise QB early in the process.

No one can tell me that Rattler or Shough is a Franchise QB who has the potential to lead Saints to SuperBowls.
I’m not buying it !!

Can’t trust what Mickey says and how he manages the draft via picks or strategically managing acquisition of Compensatory Picks.
Loomis’s history is well documented.

Remember….Mickey Loomis ALSO said that Dennis Allen needed to be given more time because ….
he could potentially be the next Bill Belicheck or Vince Lombardi !!

Gayle had to step in and direct the firing of Dennis Allen cause Loomis refused to do it without a direct order from the owner !!

Saints are saddled with Loomis BUT
Coach Moore has to be the Savior in this deal….
and that could begin in 2026 with HIS Evaluation and selection of a new QB !

That’s when the Rebuild Truly Begins….

It’s going to take multiple drafts to fix this mess that dipshit Loomis and Allen got us into. Also, to hit on those drafts. Whiffing on 2nd rounders like Foskey are a prime example of this organization never drafting well.

That QB that we yearn for will need a supporting cast and toys to play with on offense.

The toys are easier to find than a Franchise QB.

This.
We have an entire season to experience before any of this is even relevant.

I can’t wait for the saints to win 2-3 more games than they should and get pick 7 or some shite

This team will be bad for a minimum of 3 more seasons after this one. Moore will be gone by then and it’ll start all over. It will continue until all of the current upper management of the team is retired or dead from old age.

The Dome Patrol and the Payton / Brees era are the exception not the rule.

Moore will be coach of the Saints for 4-5 years minimum….. I think he’s the Saints Longterm future coach beyond 5 years.

He and his staff will improve the team.

To what degree is the unknown.

personally, i think you monitor Arch Manning, and see how he does as starter this year at Texas...

we know we will have a top 3-5 pick this year... that's almost guaranteed... it's highly likely that Arch is staying in college one more year... so, if he doesn't come out this draft, then go BPA this year... we will still suck next year, and THEN you angle for the #1 pick, b/c Arch WILL be in the 2027 draft...

or

if he sucks and doesn't live up to the hype, you take a QB in this draft b/c you will have some good ones available... Nuss, Klubnik, Leavitt, possibly Sellers, etc...

I like this group of QBs coming out, if we dont start 4-1, we need to tank. odds are slim with our schedule.

If we didn't need a QB, Caleb Downs hand down is the best player available.

The way the Saints luck is plus our horrible management, it’d play out like this..

Saints get 1st pick in the draft, Arch enters the draft but pulls an Eli Manning and refuses to come to the Saints.. And I couldn’t blame him lol

Loomis will take 4th best lineman available and you'll like it.

Oh you want another topic ??

Hmmm…..

1) What does Loomis have on Gayle because she refuses to fire him for incompetence.

Hmmm…..

How many losses in the season before the Aints bags begin to appear in the stands
(12,13, ???).

Hmmm….

Why does Tigerbait2008 think the Male Saints Cheerleaders are cute ??

If he posts one of his numerous yawning responses… he’s only showing the male cheerleaders how high and wide he can open his mouth …. 1+1 = 2

Muuhahahaha

Franchise QB or DE. Best scenario possible is for the Daints to go winless this year.

Tank has already begun
