Bill Belichick's Girlfriend Jordon Hudson Files to Trademark "Gold Digger"

TCE Rights Management—a company managed by Jordon—filed the trademark application on Aug. 25, according to documents viewed by E! News, noting that the 24-year-old would use the phrase on jewelry or key chains. quote:Got to give this girl credit , she getting every bit of her 15 minutes of fame before she dumps paw paw Bill or he dies
The application is the latest effort from the pair, as just four months ago they filed a few more trademark terms in regards to Bill’s coaching career—which now sees the 73-year-old as head coach of the University of North Carolina's football team—including “Chapel Bill (Bill’s Version),” “Do Your Job (Bill’s Version)” and “All-Belichick Team,” among others. All of them are currently awaiting examination.

It's not as simple as just seeking trademark the phrase for all uses. Many trademarks are common words or phrases - "Best Buy," "Apple," "Shell." She would have identified products or services the phrase will be used with. As someone said, if you want to brand your shovel with Gold Digger, you might be able to get a trademark that prevents others from selling shovels with that brand. Apple has trademarked "Apple" for all types of products.
