Deep Carry

Does anyone here deep carry on a regular basis? If so, what is your set up? What system, gun, and clothes are you using?
I've been trying to deep carry a P365XL using this Phlster Enigma technique, but I can't strike a balance between comfort & concealment. I can either get good concealment and be uncomfortable, or be comfortable and have the holster print through my pants. I'm planning on swapping to a P365X to see if this solves my issues. Concealment is paramount for me when using this method. Looking forward to reading about what y'all use.
EDIT: By "deep carry" I mean having the grip of the gun at or below the belt. I edited the link above to a better video explanation.

Are you as not fat as the people in the video?
By far the biggest factor in how comfortably you can carry on the front half of your waistline is how fat you are. Nobody in that pitch video is fat except that one guy they only show for a brief second, and you can see all kinds of stuff jewged up into his gut.

I'm pretty average, 5'11 & 170lbs. I'm not in great shape, but I can appendix carry comfortably when I don't need to deep carry. I sit down most of the time when I deep carry and get hot spots after a few hours.

I carry a glock inside the waist with a kydex holster at 9ish oclcock I’m left handed.
I have tried to carry appendix like shown but it is aggravating every time I try to bend over or sit down and even walking is a PiTA.
I wear jeans or stretch pants like wrangler acg or kuiu and polo style or fishing style shirts and tshirts untucked.
As long as your not wearing 511 tactical and a punisher shirt with a Glock hat nobody is paying attention to what your wearing they are too busy letting everyone know what they are eating on Snapchat and IG.

Do you go up a size for your pants for carry? I think part of my problem may be my pants, I haven't upsized.

Agreed mostly, I just need to be extra careful sometimes. When I deep carry it's in a non-permissive environment. I'm not breaking any laws but could be asked to leave if found out.

I don't see how it would be possible to carry that way comfortably without being in good shape. It doesn't sound like you're a lard arse, but I'm thinking more along the lines of almost 6 pack shape. I don't see how else someone could carry a normal sized pistol that way comfortably all day with regular pants on.
Maybe try some stretchier pants and even larger waist size? It's going to start looking like clown pants eventually but I don't see how else you could comfortably accommodate the added bulk and maintain a full range of motion and comfort except going to the smallest gun they make.
Otherwise, try pocket carrying. It kinda sucks for various reasons but it's simple and comfortable.

That could be it, the instructor looks ripped. Maybe I'll have to revisit in a year or two, lol.
I'm thinking going up a pants size & a shorter slide are next on the list to try before going to pocket carry. I have a Ruger LCP gen 1 that I sometimes pocket carry, but I find that prints a bit too. Do you use a pocket shield or is the answer bigger pants here too?

I only buy the wrangler retros that have a slight stretch to them and don’t really upsize. I also have started using a web belt that lets you snug the gun to fit versus my hanks leather belt that always seemed to be a notch to big or too small depending on the day.

Bigger pants helps for sure. Different style pants probably will help just as much also. Anything tight in the thigh is going to print badly pocket carrying and you really need some waist and groin stretch to carry anywhere in the front comfortably while sitting down. I don't really worry about it, you'd have to really look to tell it's not a gargantuan cell phone like most people have now. I use a regular soft pocket holster usually.
Regardless, bigger and likely different style pants are going to help. Trying what you originally put up in cowboy cut wranglers is going to suck no matter how ripped you are. I'd try some of the stuff the other guy is mentioning like Kuiu, wrangler ATG, etc. Most dress pants are pretty comfortable to carry with as well. The cheap dress pants from Costco are pretty dang nice and comfortable and will accommodate a 1.5" carry belt.

I don’t know about “deep carry” but I’ve been conceal carrying on a daily basis for over 20 years.
Forget appendix carry in front. Inside the waistband small of your back is most comfortable and practical for me. Untuck a shirt to cover it.
When dressing more formally I wear an ankle holster.

For deep carry I have a Sig P238, 1791 IWB. Appendix carry, small and light enough that it retains well no matter the pants and it doesn't need to be clipped onto a carry belt. My regular carry is a Glock 26 w/G19 mag, Black Arch IWB, appendix carry but I am almost always wearing jeans with a Core carry belt. Having a good, stiff carry belt makes a lot of difference in comfort. The Core belt is still pretty thin too, easier to clip a holster on or off than a thicker leather belt.

I appendix carry, but not deep. I'm not fat, but not in shape or super skinny at all. I've gotten comfortable with it. As far as deep carry, I've never really looked into it. I'd be concerned about accessibility to drawing the gun. I try to make sure my grip is always clear above the belt line. Outside of the portion where he had a tucked in shirt, I can't see where I'd want my gun that low.
Concealment is important, but never had anyone notice me carrying. Even when I loosen up my belt (NextBelt) around the house or something and print more than optimally. People don't notice as much as you think they do. I've been around others who carry and we are discussing guns, I'll show my set up and they'll comment that they had no clue I was carrying then and there.

I've carried a full size gun in a owb duty holster under a t shirt printing big time and it took my wife a little while to notice it, and she's always looking at my arse. Have carried in public like that a few times, and I know nobody noticed because later when I picked my shirt up to wipe my face or something I've been asked if I was carrying all day, by people who were with me all day.
The only people who notice an even halfway decently concealed gun are people who are looking for it.
That said, I never figured out a good way to carry with a tucked shirt. I dont like pocket carrying but I do it when I have to dress decently, I feel like its my only viable option. OPs thing looks like a really good solution for that, I just think im probably a little too fat for it.

It will help some with the 10 round - flush fit magazines for pocket or appendix. I don't think it will solve the comfort issues. You'll want the 12-round magazines for shootability.
