Men, in the last 5 years or so, one of our upper Louisiana baws posted up an online buyer (company that resold online/auction) he had used with good results. Poster advised he had sold to this buyer (relatively fair prices) and transaction was as simple as submit pics/receive bid/ship gun.

I have a number of old Smiths in original boxes w/o cylinder turn ring that I'm ready to move. Not talking about a discount dump - for sale, not on sale.

The original thread was a "best place/where to sell guns? inquiry. I thought I tagged the thread but looked back and cannot find the buyer info.

I'm in Laplace and have bought on Gunbroker for 30 years but never sold. GB will be last resort.

All comments welcomed.

The only way we can tell you the best place to sell them is to let us know what you have and what the prices are.

I've used Bayoushooter with great results. Got a Tikka CTR yesterday from there.

You can use Gunbroker. You’re going to need to use an FFL to ship. UPS and FEDEX won’t ship firearms for individuals any longer. I have found Bayoushooter to be okay but for really nice firearms you’re likely not going to get the price you could on GB. You can also go to the smith and Wesson forum. They have a nice classifieds forum that is free to use. You will probably need to post a little before they give you access. I have bought and sold on all 3 sites with little issue.

Take as many pictures as you can and give as much detail in each gun. It will cut down on questions and you usually get better traction with a better ad. I would be interested in anything you have to offer for sale. I love older K models.

1971, the ol baw that made the online gun buyer post was a respected poster of your caliber.

May have been Clyde Tipton or someone like him.

I wish TD had a classifieds. Some of these Smiths are Mod. 16, 18, 34-3 nickel, 63 stainless, 53, 58 ... NIB nickel Colt Detective Special ..

Online buyer was a new & unique buyer and still looking for that post/poster.

Where are you located and how many and types?

My son buys good collections but they have to be size enough to be worthwhile. He bought over 7 figures worth of guns from an east Texas collector a couple years ago. He is in retail, these weren’t personal purchases.

63 stainless,

What is this one?

ETA: I have one that I bought several years ago. Have the box and all the original paperwork that came with it.
Mine has been shot very, very few times.

The Smith & Wesson Model 63 .22/32 Kit Gun, is built on a stainless-steel J-frame and chambered in 22 Long Rifle. My 63 is a .22 caliber 4" barrel w red insert in front ramp. Blue S&W box has the rivet/metal reinforced corners.

S&W made several .22 kit gun models. It was designed to be easily packed in a hunting or fishing \"kit\" for small game hunting, plinking, pest control and self defense.

I've bought and sold firearms locally thru Bayoushooter, as well as pistol parts and other items. I've never had a bad experience with anyone on there... minus admin, LOL.

All questions regarding items for sale have to be done thru DM and not posted as a reply.

71,
Its a -3, Blued, 32 H&R Mag. 4", in box, wrapped in S&W paper, unfired w/nomenclature, cleaning kit and cool S&W sight adjustment tool. Factory grips have finger grooves.

If you pick it up you will not want to put it down. These revolvers bring a premium.

I second or third BayouShooter. Face meetups to sell, but most users are in Laffy, BR, Nola. I've never had a bad experience.

10-4, FTF over shipping - even if it takes a lower selling price

Does your son have a website? I am wanting to sell my Deer Rifle set up, it’s never been shot.

Friend of mine swears by this site. According to him, the buyer pays a more than fair price, and shipping is a breeze.

He works for Scheels - Scheels.com. They will do one off buys like that, his niche within the company is the larger collections. He’s bought some shite that is pretty remarkable.
