Have you looked at how other Teams have done against the Denver Starters?

It’s clearly going to be Shough after today. We didn’t draft him in the 2nd round and see him outplay Rattler in preseason to NOT start him.

did he though?

look, personally, i do think they will name him starter... they gave him more time today to try to give them a reason to name him starter, and he did just enough to accomplish that... but to act like he was so much better than Rattler, when really Rattler had the better stats, up until the rush TD by Shough, well, it's disingenuous and intellectually dishonest...

Sorry bud, scoring 1 td against backups isnt enough to win the job. Rattler will likely start. Shough hasnt earned it and there is no reason to rush him

actually, there is... he's going to be 26 in a few days... how long would you give him to "figure it out" in the NFL?

Well we have to pick 1, and when you remove the bias of draft slot, rattler makes less mistakes, and has a better feel for the pocket

He gets 1.5 years to figure it out. Him being 26 doesnt mean he has to be thrust out there week 1, he can come in weeks 5-7

Draft slot (and who drafted him) is actually a thing lol, it doesn’t just “get removed”

If Rattler had CLEARLY outplayed Shough, I would agree with you. He has not done that……it’s about even. In that case, you should go with the upside and see what you have in him

I'd give one call to this man and make him say no.

I don’t care who the starter is, neither will be successful with that O-Line and a bunch of WR3 & WR4’s. This team has no WR1 or WR2.

What?? Quite the opposite actually. He’s way more up and down that Shough. He makes a wow play and a wtf play

Rattler 30/43 69.8% 295 yds 6.8 ypa 1 TD 1 INT 1 fumble lost 4 sacks
Shough 36/54 66.6% 333 yds 6.2 ypa 1 TD 1 INT 1 fumble lost 5 sacks

is he though?

You have to look deeper than that into what you want to see then you'll see the difference.
