Mine is actually a penalty wave off. 2006 LSU @ Auburn, 2 mins and some change left, 4th and long, J.Russell throws a deep pass that's incomplete in the middle of the field at like the 3. A flag comes out immediately. Pass interference on the defense, 15 yard penalty, automatic 1st down LSU. The game goes to commercial, when it comes back on, the ref picks up the flag and says no call because the ball was tipped. At this point in time there is no video review, even CBS said they couldn't do that. But they did, Auburn ball and we lose 7-3.

To be fair J Rock had 3 first round wide receivers and we should have scored 30, but we got the shaft that day on the plains.

That pass actually was tipped though, so it was technically the right call

Even if you wave off for a tipped pass he was clearly held before the pass so there should have been a defensive holding call…

This!! I just watched the replay on YouTube. It was a hold before the tip.

No call on Navarrro Bowman intentionally delaying the game in the Orlando Disappointment Bowl.

Receiver was tackled before the ball was tipped--defensive holding. There was a penalty to be called no matter what.

Also, they ignored the tip rule on the Daniel Francis overturned interception earlier in the game.

The most flagrant blown call I've ever seen in my life was in a game in Nashville back in 1990, and it literally changed the outcome of the game.

A phantom OPI against Todd Kinchen in the endzone wiped out his winning TD catch of a pass from Chad Loup on the LAST PLAY OF THE GAME!!!

NOLA No Call
That was the all time worst in any sport at any level considering the obviousness of the call and the magnitude of the game.

For LSU
The Patrick Peterson interception against Alabama. That was the most obvious mistake that could have been overturned by replay and wasn't.

Charley Mac would have told you it was the tic tack facemask call on the play they didn't call illegal procedure against USC 1979.

I forget the 1990 Vandy game because I didn't see it!! I was young, like 9, but we were listening to Jim Hawthorne while working at the deer camp, and that's my first "holy cow" moment from Jim that I remember. They lost their minds, then of course we did because Jim was never wrong... right?? (Until that time Jack Hunt caught the Bluegrass Miracle)

Nothing comes close to the NFC championship game involving the Rams and Saints.

Every single OT penalty and the penalties right before the OT in the 7 OT screw job against the faggies. By the fourth OT, I just stared dead pan at the screen knowing no matter what, the refs were not going to allow us to win that game. They absolutely had it in their heads that AnM should finally get a win against LSU and in their house. They were ruthlessly corrupt.

Edit: Also, the re kick vs auburn in their house, block their fg and the refs come up with some absolute horseshite so they could win after we earned it by blocking it.

The NOLA no call... I'm gonna be honest, and I know this is an unpopular take, but in real time I didn't think it was a PI. Now in slow motion, from the angle behind, of course it was. But as a die hard Saints fan even I didn't see it as PI in real time.

I wouldn’t say the worst, but was a huge penalty that probably didn’t need to be called, and absolutely affected the outcome of the game. The personal foul penalty on Vadal Alexander against Bama in 2014. We could have scored a TD instead of a field goal if it weren’t for that. Would have made it more difficult for Bama to go down the field and score a TD, instead of a FG they were able to settle for.

any time a team was given an extra down. With 5, 7 or 8 field officials that should NEVER happen.

2003 Miami vs Ohio st. national championship game.
Bad interference call on Miami in overtime.
Worst call because of the significance of the call, game was over and Miami had won. Ref changed the national champion on the call.
