Got a buddy who owns a "special finance" used car lot in Lincoln amd he says all his salesmen have felonies and have been divorced at some point also a lot of them have drug and alcohol problems and spend a ton of time in strip clubs.

This is a lot that usually deals with Credit Acceptance at the state maximum fir interest rates (17.99%)

Most of them are divorced because they'd constantly cheat on their wives. There was one guy who had a lot in Lincoln who had a hooker OD on a plane ride to Vegas and his wife found out.

Pretty sure it’s selling Omaha Steaks out of the trunk of a car.

I would think door to door would be the entry level sales job.

Kirby

While most use car sales are the bottom of the barrel in the industry, there are a limited number of used car sales jobs that comp can be in the mid 6 figures but you aren't selling Altimas and 20 yo Civics.

I sell commercial and residential moving, it’s not much better than car sales.

I actually know a used car sales manager at a dealership that is part of new sales dealership.

While he is divorced, overall he is a good guy and seems to do pretty well, for a car salesman.

He has mentioned one time that you can make more money on the used side of the business than new car sales.

Is that true?
