Lets go down memory lane a bit. The show frequently had guest appearances by musicians, up and coming actors, and sometimes professional athletes. Anyone remember in season 2 Bill Russel was a judge hooked on gambling? His son was none other than Bernard King? Kramer was the bookie that Russell was in debt with. The show lost its luster after season 3 IMO.

Is this show streaming anywhere?

I never see it on any of the major services.

Unfortunately no. A couple years ago I bought the whole series on DVD on Amazon Prime day for 24.99 or something well worth it

The show started going downhill when Michael Mann left after Season 2 and Dick Wolf took over. It really went off the rails in Season 4. They tried to course correct in Season 5, but it was too little, too late.

Seasons 1 and 2 are peak TV, though.

Amazon prime has a channel called "Universal Action." MV comes on every day in the afternoon around 3pm EST

My favorite tv show of all time. I have all seasons on BluRay, I do a re-watch every once in awhile. The first two seasons are amazing, damn near perfect. The last three can be hit and miss, particularly after the show shifted to a darker tone.

I’m in process of buying hard copies of all major shows and movies I really care about for that reason.

Once I have them I honestly don’t have much use for most of the networks or services outside of college football and basketball.

Never interested me, except for Harry Shearer playing a meat inspector.

He said he took the role so he could point a gun at people and yell "Freeze!! USDA!!"

The episode "Definitely Miami " which I think was from season 2 had 1980s wrote all over it.

S2 Ep12. I think the best episode of the show. The definitive Miami Vice. Ted Nugget is one of the guest stars and this smoking hot French actress.

“Definitely Miami”, “Little Miss Dangerous”, and “Out Where The Buses Don’t Run” are my three favorite episodes, all with killer endings. I also like the one down in the Everglades because of the use of a forgotten awesome song called “Girls With Guns”. There’s a whole scene where Crockett and Tubbs are just driving along with that song playing in the background.

My #2 episode. Bruce “D-Day” McGill and David Straithairn. The end is brilliant like a cross between the Tell Tale Heart and Cask of Amontillado

The ending to “Little Miss Dangerous” had me speechless back when it aired. Network TV wasn’t like this at the time.
