It’s difficult to observe , back in the miles years, Matt Flynn discussing how max protect wasn’t actually protecting the qb when the defense easily dx the next play dt formation.

Additionally, it’s hard seeing former players seeing what the coaches cannot see.

Guy has one of the top 5 LSU TD receptions of all time.

True. Jack Hunt's play at WR and Trindon Holiday at DE has become the thing of legend around here...

Cliff note: he said that in Saban's first year with the Fins, he was carrying his college coaching ways to NFL players. Finally an older vet took him for a walk down the field post practice one day. "Coach, me & most of the vets here are making more money than you. You can't treat us like young college players". His take on why Saban couldn't make it in the pros. Hunt followed Saban to the Fins, for 2 years. He laffed & said that some fans still think he scored the winning TD on the Blue Grass Miracle; he gets congrats a lot.

Considering the last few years, I'm impressed by how good this defense is, even though I haven't seen them play a game yet.

Did JD ask him about his miraculous catch in the Bluegrass Miracle?

JACK HUNT! CAUGHT IT AND SCORED

I DONT BELIEVE IT!

But yeah he was awesome. ‘03 & ‘11 have to be everyone’s favorite defenses in modern era

A safety from one of the best defenses in LSU history on the 2003 historic team that you forget he was out there because he didn't have the big name recognition. He just did his job and made plays and won a ring.

Yes, he made one of the most magnificent plays in LSU history at Kentucky in 2002. A true legend.

Been watching a few games from last year. When you rewind to figure out how the big play happened, Burns, Ryan and Gilbert are almost always the reason the good play turned into a 70 yd TD. Literally almost every big run they miss a tackle or hit the wrong gap.

Sage Ryan and Major Burns are objectively two of the worst safeties to play at LSU in the last 25 years.

Was Delpit our last safety to get drafted and play safety in the NFL?

He said that Hawthorn's spotter pointed to his # 8 instead of Henderson's #9. Hawthorn never made an excuse, just took full responsibility.
