Nebraska archery Pronghorn
Opening morning today. Came in about 1045 solo to a water tank.
22 yards hard quarter. Actually only made it about 6 yards before he laid down dead. Love hunting these animals!

If they are typically feeding on Alfalfa they are very good to eat, feeding on Sage they make great sausage.
I've taken a dozen or so out of Wyoming, Congrats on the harvest

Thanks.
This is my 3rd. I absolutely love hunting them. 2nd with archery.
I think they are delicious, better than deer honestly.

They got some giants not far from you but you got all the exotics. Hard to pick between the two....

New Mexico has private land tags and Texas panhandle may have some of the biggest Pronghorn around. But you are going to pay $$$$

Really? Everyone around here in TX panhandle says you can’t make them taste good regardless of how you cook them.

I would think you could make a sausage out of the meat and make it good. Cut it with a lot of fat, salt, and cajun seasonings.

The meat is perfectly fine by itself. No need to add anything but a little pork fat because it is so lean. Everyone that says antelope tastes bad just doesn't know how to cook or doesn't really like wild game.
