Abortions are illegal in Texas, but a pregnant woman cannot ride the HOV lane

My sister who is eight months pregnant got a ticket for riding in the HOV lane in Houston, how the frick does that make any sense?
… when Texas has a law that makes abortion legal because you are “murdering a human being”, however, I guess the human being doesn’t count as a human being if you’re riding in the HOV lane

Agree, it either is or isn’t as far as the laws are concerned. I seem to remember a similar case in Dallas a few years back but I don’t remember how it was resolved.

Was the baby taking up an additional seat? Because High Occupancy Vehicle lanes are about maximizing vehicle seating capacity.

Yeah the HOV lanes really help out from all the congestion created by children driving around. Imagine if all those children rode in the cars of their parents how much better traffic would be
