Last piece was to firm up the launch monitor. Went from the GC2 when I started this to the GC3. Wanted to go with either the TM4 or GCQ. Tested both and the Quad was the winner until getting the RCT balls from Titleist. Numbers are almost identical with TrackMan clearly winning the software battle imo.

16.5 x 21 x 10 room that I’ve had for 4 years. Play 5+ times per week in it. If anyone is thinking about doing it, I highly recommend it.

Well done sir - we have had the trackman since 2016 and it’s been a game changer. My younger daughter takes it with her all the time to the course. They also recently integrated with the Stack system as well and they have started that using trackman now instead of the alternatives they had to use in the past.

We found the customer service at trackman is white glove all the way and my kids have been calling support for years and know are very knowledgeable.

The only issue we ever had was memory on the PC - and they used to support the computer itself but I don’t think they do any longer but they did give me the exact specs and we got a dell that does the trick - their new courses take up a ton of memory so make sure you have plenty and a spare

Room looks amazing very well done and enjoy!

Yours is a lot fancier than my poor boy shop setup. What did you use on the walls for padding around the screen?

I put 4x8 3/4 plywood instead of sheet rock where you see the black and then puzzle carpet tiles over that.

Between the screen and the wall to hide the grommet is custom carpet strips with Velcro on each side. Nothing fancy, just had it made at a local seamstress.

The thing that I like the most is the putting green/ hitting mat. I put 5/8 foam tiles in the whole room and laid the putting green across that. Then, when I set the mat, I cut out the putting turf and the tiles and this allowed hitting mat to sit flush with the putting green. Looks nice.

That is dope, congrats sir

Currently in the market for a new house and an extra room/shop is definitely being dedicated to a sim.

I’d guess 15 for the components and 22 for the radar.

Looks awesome!

After waiting a year and a half to pull the trigger - I finally bought everything then we decided to move a week later so everything is still sitting in boxes...

Can't wait to get set up and play.

I use a GC2 and GS Pro

Built a room from scratch 13 ft ceiling necessary for projector above.

I can't imagine having your TV monitor positioned where it's at without threat of damage

My two early 20s sons have friends over twice a week and play full rounds and that area of my wall, even with curtains is demolished

That’s 90 degrees to the hitting area and 7 foot in the air. I don’t know how you could possible hit it.

Yeah my perception was off from top pic. Could tell better from reverse angle

But trust me, my kids and their buds have destroyed the bottom bar, walls, and ceilings

I have curtains, cushions, the whole 9 yards

You will be amazed where that ball can end up

What mat do you have for your hitting surface? I’m hitting off of a fiber built set up, but I think I want something laid in seamlessly. Just not sure what I want.

Read the previous post I made on laying seamlessly. Makes the room look much better

This is a 6x10 teeline mat from Louisiana Custom Turf. He ships all over the country.

In a year, you will have stuff stored in there wondering what the hell you were thinking
