If we're going by Rotten Tomatoes the remake of the movie is twice as good as the original. The cartoons with giant boobs never goes away.

Ultimately, the big thing here is that a show like this COULD be good if done right.

You need to play up the sexiness angle though, while also having a strong female protagonist.

First movie sucked, bad. Not sure what your point is. . .

Making these kind of movies is literally as easy as marketing beer and our ad and entertainment morons still frick it up. Just go to any big city strip bar. Ask the three hottest broads with the biggest tits if any of them played volleyball or softball in high school (so you know they have a modicum of athletic ability to swing a sword). We know from their pole routines they can handle some light stunt work. As far as acting ability, every stripper can make an overweight insurance salesman with a receding hairline think he's Robert Redford. That's better than Meryl Streep can do. Add an extremely revealing costume - only exceeded by its impracticality - and you've got a low budget winner*.
