Anna Faris and Regina Hall returning for Scary Movie 6

Core Scary Movie actresses Regina Hall and Anna Faris are coming back as Brenda and Cindy for the Wayans Brothers’ restart of the early millennium comedy franchise.
Said Hall and Faris, “We can’t wait to bring Brenda and Cindy back to life and be reunited with our great friends Keenen, Shawn and Marlon—three men we’d literally die for (in Brenda’s case, again.)”
The new Scary Movie is big reunion bringing The Wayans brothers back together for the first time in 18 years to write an all new, original script for the series, the guys co-penning with the Miramax production with Rick Alvarez. Scary Movie is prepping for an October shoot in time for a June 12, 2026 global theatrical release via Paramount. Miramax has a first look deal with Paramount.

The first two were made by the Waynes bros. Quality took a major dip after they were driven out. I can't wait for the reboot. First viewing of the original Scary Movie has to be top 5 funniest shite ever.
