I’d be surprised if woke teachers are moving to Oklahoma in any significant numbers. The pay cut to move here would be significant.
I wish he would focus on getting Oklahoma out of last place in education rankings. We’re literally #50. But every time he’s on TV he’s ranting about woke teachers in Oklahoma, bibles in classrooms, liberal this or that.
He’s running for governor and he’s found his lane. It’s a bit of a throwback to a different time when people were paranoid about devil worship and the explicit lyrics in pop music. It’s effective for a certain population but I don’t think it will win the governorship like he hopes.

Oklahoma is the deepest red state. I’ve lived here my whole life. The idea that there is a “woke liberal “ underground movement in Oklahoma schools is ridiculous.
