to deter crime. No way you’re living a full life on death row after taking another’s life.

Unless somehow state lines were crossed or it involves a foreign entity, this should remain a state issue.

No room for murderers in the USA.

Violates the first amendment. The death penalty is against my religion.

I suppose that sounded like a clever "gotcha" in your head.

Jesus was pointing out the Jews hypocrisy. The ones picking up stones were full of bloodlust.

You wouldn’t be sentenced to death had you not killed somebody (which is against your religion).

Not to mention it costs more than life imprisonment with no possibility of parole

Just enforce the existing laws

The government that you hate so much and is so incapable of doing basic things should be able to arrest, prosecute and sentence people to death? Not to mention people who are mentally handicapped who will also be put to death?

I’d much rather see this for repeat child molesters.
I don’t trust the justice system enough anymore to say that the death penalty is appropriate for your routine murder case.

No. It just sounded like a fact.

We already know the state has executed innocent people.

Does Dylan Roof deserve to be executed?

Or maybe not be a centrist like you and keep it a federalist system, as the Found Fathers intended.
You appear to be completely ignorant or astoundingly dumb.

Only because a joke of an appeals system.
We live in an age of DNA evidence and video cameras.
All appeals should have a 365 day countdown.
Would cut costs tremendously.

I get the feels but that's a really bad idea.
You really want the feds to have that power? Can you imagine the expansion and creep with that as a starting point? That would be the most dangerous mistake we could make.
