He's definitely the brightest spot of game 1.

On the flip side, I really think Ceasar Ruiz doesn't get enough hate.

We will probably have 3/5th of a very good OL.

He and Penning gave up zero pressures when they were in there together

Agree about Ruiz. Was a head scratcher at the time the pick was made and really hasn't done anything to change my mind. I would not complain if we used a high pick in next year's draft on a guard.

I’m convinced Payton made draft choices to troll fans at times. Everyone and their mom is pointing to drafting a receiver or DL and picks a OC 2 years in a row with our top pick.

I am constantly saying that he’s terrible! I get told “he’s fine, not a big problem” lol

Not sure WTF those people are watching

Ruiz is garbage. I was hoping Penning would be so good that his spot was locked down so Ruiz would have to beat out Dillon Radunz for the RG spot. Hopefully Penning if just out a few weeks. This was a move that should gave been made back in Peat’s last season. Penning bever should have gone to the right side the team should have just swapped Penning and Peat. Peat would have given you average to slightly below average play at LT for one year and then draft the next LT.

Picking a guard in the first round is really bad value, unless you have a surefire pro bowler.

I wouldn't be against drafting G in the 2nd or 3rd next few years while we are getting QB figured out. Even better if you can find one that has some time at C as well.

most guards go from 3rd round on. 1st and 2nd rounds should be for playmakers like QB, WR, DE or a OT.

Ruiz is only serviceable when McCoy is beside him to offer some help.

No Mccoy and Ruiz is terrible. McCoy didn't play last game and Ruiz got run right past or over at least 2 times in his limited reps.

When McCoy inevitably gets hurt and misses time we are screwed and will get a QB injured.

He's a Center playing Guard. He's playing out of position.

He’s not a great center either.

But, you do admit he’s a terrible guard, right?
