I was at a wedding shower last year and the bride was opening presents. She pulled some of that tissue paper out of a gift bag and caught it on fire from a candle on the table. She panicked and threw the out paper which landed on the fooor and immediately lit the curtains on fire.
Everyone in the room lost their shite and several people ran to the kitchen while screaming “fire extinguisher!!!” I grabbed the beer from the guy next to me, walked over and poured them both on the curtain putting everything out. They acted like I was Einstein. As with these guys, everyone in that room had a drink of some kind. I don’t know why they didn’t use them.
