Best rangefinder for the money?

I've never had one but need to buy this year. Any recs on what to look for? Will be used for long range - 3-500 yds.
I'm a cheapskate and am hoping to get one <$200.
TIA

I think the leupold that runs about $200 is a great value and is where I'd start. I think sig makes one around that price as well. I've never used the sig, but I have a pair of their rangefinding binos and they are awesome with a very impressive rangefinder.
But what will you be ranging and where? reflective metal in a field with no time constraints is much easier to range than a dark animal in dense foliage with a ticking clock. If the former, you can get away with pretty much anything at those ranges.

I just bought a tidewe mini 875y on sale for $60 a month ago. All the YouTube reviews were good so I figured for the money why not. Works good around the house so far, but no hunting experience with it yet

I have a cheap one from Walmart that I believe is a Halo brand. They have one listed now that goes to 450 yards for $69. It’s accurate, but mine has black numbers in the viewfinder that are kinda hard to read at times.

I have a Vortex that was relatively inexpensive.
I had a problem with the one I bought and they replaced it under warranty with the upgraded model. It has a little magnification and more importantly red numbers in the display.

I have a Leica and it’s been great but more than your price range.
My son has an Sig that he really likes a lot and got reviews when I got it for him. It was right there if I remember right.

I have a vortex one I use for golf and confirming distances at the range when shooting out to 600+ yards. It's meant for golf and has features for that, but works just fine to grab a distance. I paid a little more for the golf features (slope adjustment) and it was like $250

I had a sig Kilo but it quit working so I trashed it and bought a Leica. Like the Lecia better.

I have a lower end sig kilo that is alright. The angle function crapped out on me after a colorado trip which is a somewhat common issue with them after a 10 day trip at sub zero temps. The normal ranging function still works fine. Display is super bright and clear and easy to see. They only warranty the electronics for 1 year.
Would likely be an excellent budget rangefinder absent of the extreme weather use.
