I am from an incredibly large family. We had family reunions, and I remember at one point when I was a kid waiting to get some food an older male told me I'd better get it while I can because it's a free for all, and just because I'm a kid doesn't mean I get to eat first.

It taught me to be really protective over my food. I've grown out of it, but looking back I can't imagine saying that to a child.

I have a really hard time not slugging those people when I am a witness.

Any time I have received a foul ball at a game, I've handed to the youngest kid that appears to be paying attention, grow the sport.
