Kirk did the unexpected. He embraced the Cartman caricature, and even made the Kirk-Cartman character his profile pic. He claims they even used dialog from one of his actual campus exchanges. Kirk is having fun with it, and the left is having a stroke. Well played.

SouthPark is going to Howard Stern itself.

South Park has really gone down hill.

I haven’t watched any episodes in probably ten years. Used to be my favorite show.

Out of all the material they had the last 4 years, Matt and Trey didn’t roast Biden at all (correct me if I’m wrong).

It seems this season isn't going as planned for Try and Matt. They melted down over ICE using a clip as their profile pic and now this with Charlie

A few things, the right has become really good at embracing memes and trends and using it to their advantage.

This also shows further that a shift in the culture war has changed and the right is dominating right now.

I used to believe that Trey and Matt made fun of everyone equally, and that was true forever, but why did they give Biden and Kamala what could be considered a pass and go pretty easy on them when there was so much material? Trannies on the WH lawn, cocaine in the WH, etc.

It’s like resisting a nick name your group gives you because the next one is going to be way worse.

Better to embrace it and move on.

I watched the episode. It was hilarious

In slight defense of their lack of content on biden they have been locked in a legal battle between HBO and Paramount for nearly his entire presidency.

They really only made very little new content during that time most notably the pandemic special and the pandering where they roasted disney.

They did have a prime opportunity for roasting biden in the pandemic specials but they were hilarious in their own right with what they did. The alexa bit with grown up stan was amazing. I will agree with the criticism they shouldve roasted the dems there though

I got no problem with them roasting Trump and those around him as that’s what South Park is and has done for ages now.

But what sucks is their previous Trump jokes with Mr. Garrison were funny, these just aren’t as creative and are way more on the nose.

They also have tons of low hanging fruit in Biden and Kamala and Walz but they don’t want to go there supposedly. Hopefully they do mix jokes with them in.
If it’s a season of bashing on Trump they will lose their credibility of being the show that shits on everyone equally.

They completely sold out. Paramount paid them a ton of money, and I suspect it came with a stipulation. They used to go after EVERYBODY, Hell the disclaimer at the beginning of the show points this out, but apparently something ($$$$) pulled them away from 4 years of comedy gold.

I'm going to guess it had a little something to do with their purchase of Casa Bonita and that place being in Denver, CO. It is the only restaurant I have been to that does a full pat down and metal detector walk-through to get inside.

Exactly.

They used to roast everyone.

Something is definitely up. They’re ignoring the left now.

Honestly, the show has just turned into crap. They’re now raping Indiana Jones in their own way like they blamed Lucas and Spielberg for doing.

watching this does not appear as a "roast" of Kirk. If anything, making cartman the intelligent one mocks the whacky liberals. Did I miss something?

They didnt ignore the left though entirely.

Into the panderverse was an extremely funny biting satirical attack on wokeness.

They have largley ignored the democratic establishment though this is true.

A sign of self confidence is self deprecating humor and being able to take a joke and make fun of yourself.

This is something the left can’t do and it infuriates them when they have their “gotcha” stolen from them and used to then make fun of them.

No joke. I'm still amazed Homeland Security was busy trolling everyone with their South Park picture. That was hilarious.

Heck even Rush Limbaugh made an appearance on Murphy Brown and Family Guy.

One funny clip is when Seth got Rush to voice clip of his show as though it were a Star Wars scene. I had to do a double take when I heard it. At first I didn't believe that it was actually him.

Then there is an entire episode on Rush Limbaugh with Rush making a guest appearance.

This has always been the way to disarm critics. You embrace it, own it and it takes away their power.
