Let’s face it: that worthless fat frick is never going to release anything outside of a side story from here on out. Personally I think if you don’t release a story in a decade that it should become public domain. 14 years is absolutely absurd to wait for this bloated turd to finish a single novel.

But personally, I think the fans can come together and make a satisfying and good ending to the books. We’ve got so many great crackpot theories that they should be able to come together and work. Just either get a ghost writer to write it or get AI at this point to do it. Just give it/the ghost writer the rough endgame plot after it’s been decided what it should be.

I will however completely veto Bran becoming King at the end, and I fully believe that GRRM has already written this scene in the books because it consists of blowing himself for being the most important person ever for writing a story that he can’t finish:

Arya can’t kill the Night King
Dany needs a proper heel turn
Tyrion needs to not turn into a drooling retard
Varys and Littlefinger’s machinations need to pay off
Jon being R+L needs to mean something

A large portion of that show was some of the best anything that's ever been on television..

Yes the bad was bad. Making Bran king was just awful.

I still enjoy it regardless of the last couple of seasons.

There’s no conclusive proof that the Night King as he is on the show actually exists. I’m leaning towards no, although not completely opposed to adding him.

Dany needs a proper heel turn

Or at least buildup of more than two episodes. I actually like the idea of the novels roughly ending with Dany burning down King’s Landing, but it doesn’t work when it comes out of nowhere and the only named victims are Grade A monsters.

Varys and Littlefinger’s machinations need to pay off

Oh yeah, that’s going to be a big difference in WoW. More or less I think that the actual main antagonists of those books should be Littlefinger, Varys, and Euron. Even over the Others, those should be the endgame villains.

Jon being R+L needs to mean something

It’s incredible they fricked that up because I think this one is pretty easy to pull off.

I did have Grok a few weeks ago give me the location of every major character ranked by importance at the end of ADoS and a brief bio to remind us who they are (been like ten years since I’ve read anything but a stray chapter) to help us out here. In four parts:

1) Beyond the Wall

I think someone from the Walls of King’s Landing yelling: “We’ve had enough of Mad Kings and Queens. We want the Heir to Rhaegar.”

And Dany knowing that fAegon is not only a fake but also knowing that the actual Heir of Rhaegar is in her army, that ought to make her snap after losing almost everything to take the Iron Throne.

The last one I can think of is the person who actually invented the fat man.

Give Darkstar a bigger role 100%.

And yeah, frick Bran. I refuse to believe he ends up on the Iron Throne. The last season of Game of Thrones doesn’t exist in my opinion.

Originally Grok put Darkstar towards the bottom of the Dorne list, but got him upgraded a few spots due to my similar suspicions. Put Mormont’s Raven in dead last at the Wall as well, while I think that Raven is very important.

Also, “Winter” needs to actually mean something.
