I just watched that and had not clicked on this thread.

To be fair their Cologuard and Alexa mock ads are funny. The skits where the alien abductees interviews are great as well.

If you watch a few on YouTube the funnier ones from the last 15 years start popping up. Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks playing a MAGA guy is funny.

People say this and then link the same 20 or so clips from a 5 year period. Saturday Night Live has always been hit or miss. Growing up it was never really appointment viewing. Most of us would rather watch In Living Color or Kids in the Hall.

Left us way too soon.

But he was never meant to see old age.

15 years ago tho'

And from what I've seen since then the past 5-10 years, better skits that have popped up on my radar were when a good stand-up comedian was host and so it was a lot of their writing rather than the room of NYC liberal writers

Wouldn't it be funny if I thought I was supposed to be on the political board it was just posted this obvious sarcasm as a way of trying to get on the good side

yes exactly
Roku TV has an SNL clips channel I flip it on pretty often. I hadn’t watched them at the time but the cast with Kate McKinnon and the chubby gal and the brunette was pretty funny. That was an underrated cast. I never thought Katherine Wiig was funny though

I would suppose that Belushi and Murphy were before back when SNL was actually funny.

And as a whole has been unwatchable but an underrated cast member was Bill Hader. Him breaking character so often was funny
