Good, the higher that club is favored the better for LSU.

Bunch of money came in on Clemson thinking there's a chance Nuss is hurt probably. -3.5 for Clemson would be great value if MVB was our starter. Line would probably jump to like -13

Probably fell for the Nuss rumors that he had torn his ACL

If true, crazy how a RUMOR can move a line that quickly. Imagine if reports are Nuss is not injured at all the line will move back.

From a gambling perspective it's worth a bet, even if it was speculation, to try to beat the oddsmakers before they raise the line. -3.5 Clemson would be a GREAT value bet if Nussmeier were out. Clemson is at least a 10 point favorite if Nussmeier were out.

It means that Nuss did get hurt and banged up pretty good but it’s not an acl injury. It could be a strain or a bruise or a MCL or something that is going to weaken his leg and have him more injury prone and not 100%

Locker rooms do a good job at downplaying injurys if it’s not a confirmed injury.

It’s not good and will probably have him in a brace for the whole season.

IMO. You cant report he is "fine" if this is actually the case.

You absolutely can!

Fine simply means that Nuss will be available to play on Aug 30. Nothing more, Nothing Less.

Fine doesn’t mean it’s a severe injury, but it also doesn’t mean that he didn’t injure himself and that he is the exact same as he was prior to the injury.

Vegas doesn’t move a line a full point if Nuss didn’t have an injury that will cause some minor issues.

That's not how that works at all

They'd take down the line if that happened and might not reopen action as setting a reasonable spread to get action on both sides could be impossible

The movement is due to word of mouth out of the LSU's camp regarding the OL & how they match-up with Clemson. It opened at -2 back in May, I wouldn't be shocked if it moves to 6.5-7.5 by kickoff

yeah if it was confirmed by a reputable source, sure. But you have people still speculating even though they came out and said everything is fine. It wouldn’t have insane movement just off of one day of practice with the dline dominating the oline the Nuss shite absolutely led to this.

Not necessarily

Word didn’t spread on any legit outlet. If espn reports “Nussmeier suffers potential injury” then yes, it gets taken off the board. Threads on here and anonymous people on Twitter, no.

I doubt it gets over a touchdown as long as Nuss is playing, but that is how I’d handicap the game.
