1983 Houston Cougars

Alvin Franklin
Clyde Drexler
Michael Young
Larry Micheaux
Hakeem Olajuwon

Benny Anders and Reid Gettys off the bench.

How about the 1993 Michigan Wolverines?

I think ultimately comes down to 1991 UNLV vs. 1983 UofH.

Duke in 99 was up there. Their 01 team that DID win the National Title could have had Elton Brand, Corey Maggete, and William Avery added to Jason Williams, Shane Battier, Carlos Boozer, and Nate James. That is the best of the "What could have been" teams IMO.

89-90 LSU team was loaded. Two dominate big men and a dead eye sharp shooter from outside.

Rutgers 76 and I still say Seton Hall was robbed when they called a foul in favor of Michigan

The 1998-99 Duke team was amazing. Will Avery, Trajan Langdon, Chris Carrawell, Shane Battier, and Elton Brand in the starting line-up, with Corey Maggette and Nate James coming off the bench. That was a hell of a team, and they may have been better than the 2001 championship team. Unfortunately, they just came out completely flat in the first half against UConn.

The 1991 UNLV team and 1996-97 Kentucky team that lost to Arizona were also very good.
