Pretty impressive this is the first time Johnny gets the ball considering all the pitching injuries the org has had to navigate.

How fun will the post season be if AL West gets 3 teams into the post season, and the Yankees are watching from home?

I know, a more likely scenario is the Astros sink and don't make post season -- and I'm at peace with that scenario.

But, damn if I won't dream of gooder times with the Yankees finishing 1 game out of the wild card.

Sounded like they might give the new lefty the start

Tough to go Wholestaff when you're undecided on the next day too

Suppose Arrighetti

Yeah, I wanted to be mad when Pederson tied it up, but......

Da Yankees getting Donged is hard to beat, even when it's not in your team's best interests

A bullpen game, followed by a game tomorrow with Spaghetti probably on a pitch count, is a bit scary. At least Thursday is an off day

It’s a shame we don’t get to face Gusto. He was sent down to AAA

I said last night it seemed like Yainer has been chasing less ans staying in the zone. I cant find a way to statcast a section of games to see chase rate but in the last 13, hes hitting .370 5 doubles 2 home runs and only 2 strikeouts.

He's a completely different guy when he stays in the zone.

If he just decides until 2 strikes that he only wants to swing in his hot zones, he'll be an All-Star.

He's got a lot of piranha in him too, like Altuve

Instinctive striking at anything that moves

I find he hits better when opposing pitchers have the same plan as him

No plan at all

But not Cam, the fella they consistently talk about sitting and needing rest. Or, at least the announcers talk about it consistently. The rook is hitting .100 over his last 70 or so at bats and is still, sadly, a better option than my dear boy, Chas.

He sat the last game in Boston, right? Then he went 2-4 with a rib last night. Honestly we don’t have any better options without playing Diaz and Caratini every day which messes up the DH.
