I have the worlds most sensitive teeth and 10mg of Xanax—I mean Valium—did not relax me enough for them to get it done easily.

I think the max recommended dose of xanax is 4mg a day (24hrs)
You took 10mg before the dentist? Did you wake up from a coma 12 hrs later?

Morning everyone.
Yeah, I have a dentist appointment today to find out how soon I am going to lose my teeth. Have had periodontal disease for years but now my gums have receded so much and the stomach acid from throwing up so much has rotted my teeth to the point of no return.
Anyway, such is life. We get to enjoy a period of dominance blessed by good health and vigor but eventually yielding to time and the health and vigor give way.
Hope everyone has a great day and makes progress towards the weekend ahead.

At least I'm not alone. So far this year I've had 5 extraction. 3 crowns, and 6 fillings. Still have 2 crowns, 2 fillings and top and bottom partial to go.

My only treatment option was to use a prescription strength fluoride in palate molds (top and bottom) soaking my teeth and gums for minimum 30 minutes a day.
The first week I tried I ended up in the ER 3 times. My GI issues just can’t tolerate it.
The dentist is trying to find out more about a new even more concentrated fluoride “paint” that has just come out to see if it’s possibly an alternative.

Not Xanax, Valium. It barely put a dent in my anxiety.
Maybe they should’ve tried Xanax but I have some weirdness around scheduled drugs. Versed doesn’t put me out either.
