He has been around a long time and is a known commodity. Leans left politically (although he declares himself a centrist). Globalist. Dislikes tariffs. Possible plagiarist.

But his show is the only one on CNN that I can stomach. He is always interesting with interesting guests, from both sides of the aisle, and is pretty even handed. He will call out Trump but also praise him when he gets stuff right. He correctly diagnosed immigration as the number one reason why Trump won (and even predicted it before it happened). He acknowledges that a lot of Americans disagrees with his takes, but he is willing to engage with the other side.

Oh, and despite being raised a Muslim, he has rejected Islam and is unafraid to criticize it.

Why do you watch CNN or Fox or any of them for that matter? It’s like you folks keep trying to find someone you like. Let them go. It’s 2025

Tbh, CNN doesn't present him very well.

And another bit of honesty, whenever I see someone with a name like Pajeet or Fareed, I tend to not give them much time.

Seems to me he is just playing his role as the token "thoughtful"/"open minded" person of color on behalf of his globalist corporate MockingBird media cohorts. But IDK

Perhaps I'd have more of opinion about him 10/15 years ago when we were still a society that was more beholden to corporate news channels dictating to us what the issues are we should all be focusing on. Fortunately though American society has evolved past the need to tune into CNN to figure out what's going on in our country/world.

There isn’t anyone even close to his level of professionalism on Fox News. I’m hoping he leaves for the BBC soon.

He's alright. I'd say he's one of the more tolerable CNN talking heads.

Ehh I think people do way more complaining and then voting than they do any fighting. I’m actually not even sure what fighting means.

I think it’s healthy to consume a variety of news to prevent the echo chamber thing. Not a huge fan of Zakaria but will mention Smerconish on Saturday mornings.

I’m sure I’ll get immediate cries of “libtard,” but the guy really does go to bat for both sides. He lambasted Dems yesterday for not giving Trump credit for things he does well like the border. He always opens up opinions from Twitter and gets some doozies from idiots on both sides.
