Mythic quest shares some of the same actors and writers.

The Mick. It’s basically a Dee Reynolds spin off. I enjoyed it but never heard much about it when it was out.

A.P. Bio is Dennis’ side project. Great supporting cast.

Co-signing this. If you like Sunny then you'll likely enjoy both of these. Both basically play muted versions of their Sunny characters which doesn't suggest a whole lot of range, but both are still very funny so it works. AP Bio is currently on Netflix, The Mick was awhile back, not sure about now.

Plebs! It's pretty much Always Sunny set in ancient Rome. One of the characters, Grumio, is essentially Charlie. It's great.

The Inbetweeners is also good. Both are funny, irreverent British shows that have similar vibes to Sunny.

Peep Show is probably the closest thing to Sunny. It's British, but it's the funniest show I've ever seen.

Curb Your Enthusiasm
I think it’s more on the Jerry Seinfeld side of the Seinfeld comedy spectrum than Larry David.

I’d say Seinfeld, The League and Trailer Park Boys are its closest comedic cousins that I’ve seen.

Yeah. I made a point to say they aren't in the same style, but they don't care about being inappropriate.

Curb is basically an R-rated Seinfeld.

They both definitely get a kick out of saying/doing things just to make the audience think “no way someone came up with that and pitched it to the rest of the team”. Both enjoy making the viewer a little uncomfortable from time to time.

Workaholics
One of the only shows I’ve seen almost as much as Always Sunny. Workaholics is actually quite a bit “funnier” in a belly laugh inducing manner but it’s not as good of a show. The Workaholics guys have a podcast and it’s hilarious. The Sunny crew had a podcast snd it was like introspective lol. Totally different energies.

The whole shtick he did was great. I love how they’re not afraid to just make up a new character alter ego 17 seasons deep.
