Legal Professionals; Is Ketanji Brown Jackson as Pervasively Unqualified for the USSC...

...as she seems to me? Imo, she's arguably the worst Presidential nominee for ANY position in American history. I mean, even other Justices have seemingly denigrated some of her written opinions. Even Sotomayor appeared to scold her about a month or so ago.
If any legal minds disagree with my layman's assessment, feel free to tell me what I'm missing, and why I'm wrong to think that Brandon's nomination of KBJ was anything other than merely "political theatre." (Wink, Wink).

I didn’t think they would put anyone more unfit for the position than the wise Latina.
Boy was I wrong!

She’s basically Whoopi Goldberg in a black robe.

Me, either. That's why it attracted my attention when Sotomayor went off on her.

The problem is that there is no way to be qualified for the Supreme Court.
There are no qualifications.
Literally none.
Not age, citizenship, education, nothing. You don't have to have a law degree, an undergraduate degree, a driver's license, or a library card.
I have often wondered what would happen if the President nominated (and Congress approved) a non-actual person. Like Superman.
Or a one year old child. Or someone in a coma.
There are no qualifications that would prohibit any of these possibilities.
So no one can be unqualified. It's literally impossible.
The FF swung and missed on this one. Actually, they didn't even bother to swing.

And remind me, how many republican senators voted for her? Who were they?

Well, there was no Bryn Mawr or Brown to make a qualification for entry to the USSC back then.
Any qualifications, just like for gun ownership, will only get used against conservatives and strict constructionists. And KBJ did pass the only test she needed to: BIPOC with XX chromosomes.

By “you people,” you must be referencing those that can’t define what a woman is.

Like when Caligula made his horse a senator.

Yes and I’ll bet she doesn’t know how to use the word pervasively either.

It seems the other justices are embarrassed to have to even respond to her nonsense African responses. Way to go Joe.

Joe Biden had to win South Carolina. So he did all sorts of things to get endorsements.

We are usually in some degree of admiration for the legal cred that someone amasses over time to get nominated for the Supreme Court. But isn’t it at least a little comforting that she declared to us all that she’s “not a biologist.”?

I hope none of them did.
But I don't know the answer to your question. It wasn't the point of my post.
I didn't say she wasn't the stupidest person to ever serve on the USSC.
I think she's at least got to be in the running for that title.

You don't need to be a legal professional to answer that

If Sonja Sotomayor is calling you out - you’re an imbecile

Isn't she Paul Ryan's sister n law?
