Listening to Caroline Wren earlier. There’s rumblings of RINO’s threatening to shutdown ICE via a government shutdown if they don’t get the spending they want.

This seems like a guarantee. Republicans will not want a shutdown or a budget fight in an election year. The only way to avoid that will be a major new omnibus or a 12 month CR either of which will be followed by a short term CR next September.
Those are the types of spending bills that will turn off the base and jeopardize the mid-terms. Fortunately Democrats have gone insane so maybe Republicans can hold both houses.

Just a month ago, this board told us in no uncertain terms that RINOs were those Republicans against monster omnibus bills and big spending increases and called for primarying Republicans who refused to support them.
Tell the truth, now. The new Republicans aren’t really against big-spending omnibus bills. They love them.
