I was talking to a buddy of mine who makes 100k driving around the Atlanta area inspecting elevators and escalators. What are some other less heard of jobs that pay well and are in demand?

FWIW, $100k isn't as well off as it was 4-5 years ago.
Not less heard of, but cross country truck drivers make that $100k target.

Average pay is about $41 an hour or $85k. So like a lot of trade jobs, pretty good, but you have to work to get paid

sitting in cars sounds easy

quote:

Sydney Charlet recently went viral on TikTok for sharing how she has been making money in NYC by car sitting. NYC has some pretty annoying parking laws associated with alternate side street cleaning, and you can get hefty tickets for not abiding the sweepers when they pass. She'll simply sit in the car, and when (or if!) the street sweepers pass, she'll handle moving the car for you. You can carry on with your day.

quote:

The way it all works is pretty brilliant: Just text Sydney with where you are and what your car looks like so she can find you and your car. She'll pick up the keys from you (or your receptionist, doorman, situationship, whatever), and just so you know that she's not engaging in any funny business, she'll take videos of the car before she gets in and after so you know all is on the up and up.

And, in fact, Sydney is getting so much business that she's looking to expand her team – which means you too can be paid for sitting in a car. Sounds like a great side hustle to me!

You can make some pretty good money picking up lab samples from clinics and doctor's offices and delivering them to LabCorp, etc.

Mobile lice inspector. We had a kid sleep over and found out a couple of days later she had lice. Called someone to check the family. All clear and was charged $400. Lady said we were her 6th appointment that day in the area. She said a lot of positive tests because of summer camps. They sell products and add on cleaning fees if interested.

So this lady made almost $2,500 that day looking at scalps

I’m paying $500 cash a week to my puppy whelper. He typically takes on 4-5 litters at a time and boards adult dogs as well. All cash.

Alaska has laws where non certified people cant even free people stuck in elevators. Have to have a tech do it, and might have to fly them in.

The regulations are ridiculous.
