I haven't been able to fire up my grill in weeks due to the heat.

It was 102 when I got home from work around 5:30.

You must get per diem regardless whether you use it or not, and you're able to pocket whatever goes unused?

Pork chops cooked on the stove in olive oil and garlic. I didn't make any sides because I didn't feel like it.

That's a good thing! I realize that sounded like a weird Q. We get reimbursed up to the g-rate for the city, which is generous! But since you're pocketing nothing, you might as well go out for a sit down deal.
