Trump plays round of golf in Kevlar-plated golf cart

Just 10 months ago, Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt – his second that year – as he played golf.
So as Mr Trump and his entourage set off from the first tee at Trump Turnberry in South Ayrshire on Saturday, it appeared that his security team had come better prepared.
In addition to the stream of army trucks, road
checkpoints, and sniper positions around rural Turnberry, Mr Trump’s team deployed an additional security measure in the form of a black-clad, reinforced golf cart.

That Kevlar golf cart is no where in the picture of golf carts with Trump teeing off. Guessing that cart was for security team and evacuation cart if needed

I am very disappointed in the President's Golf Cart game, those are some basic arse golf carts. I am sure plenty of baws in the 30A have wayyy nicer carts.

Estimated cost to taxpayers for Trump golfing this term
Sounds like that number is much too low, as they did not take in account the extra security now.
