Morning all
JOTD
Recently a guy tried to rob two nuns with a knife. They ended up beating him into unconsciousness.
The lesson here is never take a knife to a nun fight.

Morning teech, Capt, BOOT, Wally and everyone else.
It's finally Friday!
This day in history:
1814
American advance into Canada halted by British troops.
Near Niagara Falls on this day in 1814, British troops commanded by General Phineas Riall thwarted an invasion of Canada by a U.S. force under General Jacob Brown in the Battle of Lundy's Lane during the War of 1812.
1832
What is believed to be the first recorded railroad accident in U.S. history occurs when four people are thrown off a vacant car on the Granite Railway near Quincy, Massachusetts. The victims had been invited to view the process of transporting large and weighty loads of stone when a cable on a vacant car snapped on the return trip, throwing them off the train and over a 34-foot cliff. One man was killed and the others were seriously injured.
1853
In a macabre instance of rough frontier justice, California Rangers inspired by a $6,000 award bring in the severed head—preserved in whiskey—of outlaw Joaquín Murrieta. Or at least that's what they claimed.
1868
The U.S. Congress formed the Wyoming Territory.
1878
Black Bart robs a Wells Fargo stagecoach in California. Wearing a flour sack over his head, the armed robber stole the small safe box with less than $400 and a passenger’s diamond ring and watch. When the empty box was recovered, a taunting poem signed “Black Bart” was found inside.
1898
U.S. forces under General Nelson A. Miles invaded Puerto Rico during the Spanish-American War.
1943
Benito Mussolini, fascist dictator of Italy, is voted out of power by his own Grand Council and arrested upon leaving a meeting with King Vittorio Emanuele, who tells Il Duce that the war is lost. Mussolini responded to it all with an uncharacteristic meekness.
1952
Puerto Rico attained its own government as a commonwealth of the United States.
1965
At the Newport (Rhode Island) Folk Festival, American singer and songwriter Bob Dylan initially eschewed his acoustic guitar to go electric; the controversial performance is considered one of the most pivotal moments in the history of rock and roll.
1969
President Richard Nixon announces that henceforth the United States will expect its Asian allies to tend to their own military defense. The Nixon Doctrine, as the president’s statement came to be known, clearly indicated his determination to “Vietnamize” the Vietnam War.
1978
Louise Brown, the first human conceived using in vitro fertilization, was born in England.
1984
Soviet cosmonaut Svetlana Yevgenyevna Savitskaya became the first woman to walk in space.
2000
A Concorde supersonic airplane—Air France flight 4590—crashed outside Paris, killing all 109 people on board and four others on the ground; the event was believed to have hastened the end of all Concorde operations three years later.
2007
Indian lawyer and politician Pratibha Patil was sworn in as president of India, becoming the first woman to hold the office.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Humans
TGIF!!
It’s gonna be a great day to crank a few special order widgets then GTFO out the back door and find the elbow of a trendy Mexican eatery’s bar and enjoy a soul satisfying treat of fresh chips, and Homade salsa with a a few rounds of rim-salted top shelf margs on the rocks.
Don’t be shy, come up and say Buenos Dias if you find me.
