The badlands in North Dakota look pretty much the same as the ones in South Dakota though they are not contiguous.

That’s a rock, and the ridges were created by thousands of years of pressure and the slow movement of glaciers on top of it.

It could be a mammoth tooth but the ridges appear a bit to symmetrical. Possibly an archaic stone tool?
