If tweet fails to load, click here. Of course, if you are still using a gas can and not a VP Racing Can that claims it is for "racing fuel only," then that is your own fault, or you live in Cali where they sued VP Racing over their cans
ETA: My bad. I missed the other thread

The vents on the ones you posted started breaking off in less than a year. Cheap Chinese plastic I guess. Just ordered these types for vents: Metal

I don’t care what they say about you Joe, you’re a good dude

All I got is that EPA crap. I just take the spigot off because it's useless. I look forward to this.

We’re petitioning the EPA to remove the evaporative emissions regs from boat fuel tanks too. It adds $500-$1000 to the cost of a fuel tank system for every new tank, the required extra valves and equipment is Chinese garbage produced by only a few conglomerates, and causes problems with fueling and available capacity.

I would think this would be beneficial for an arms dealer.
Unless you sell limbs.

Thanks. I get misunderstood a lot. I try to be clear but people hear what they want to hear or not in some cases.

I got lucky as hell. 15 years ago my neighbor passed away and his wife invited me over to see if I wanted any of his tools out of his shed. Most everything was too worn out or I already had something better, but he had about a half dozen metal gas cans ranging in sizes from 1 gallon to 5. All were from the 70s or 80s and in pretty good condition. I grabbed them up and have been using them ever since.

I only use the old Blitz gas cans with the tube-shaped vent integrated in the spout. No additional venting needed and they transport and pour without any issues. What got them banned were lawsuits regarding dangerous expansion/increased vapor pressure when left in the sun. I never leave them in the sun.

There’s a couple things that are required to be a man; unregulated gas cans, unregulated propane burners for crawfish bowls and a shovel.
