I was good until the Silver Surfer chick used her cosmic powers to turn The Thing trans. Took me completely out of the movie.

I saw it today. Honestly, I was pissed about switching Norrin Radd for Shalla-Bal, but, the trailers convinced me to give it a chance. And it was really, really good. Those involved in making this film really knew the source material and made a very recognizable fantastic four for those who love these characters. The reports about moving away from a lot of the humor is true but that only made it better. This film should do very well.

Very good. Stuck to a lot of the source material in that the team are scientists/explorers and not fighters as the climactic scene in the movie is really the only fight.
Sue is more of her late 90s take charge character and not the dutiful subservient housewife of the comics from the 60s

Story was mid at best. CGI was surprisingly good. Galactus was under utilized... again. The female silver surfer worked better for this than a male would have (you'll see why). Bonus: it wasn't full of woke shite.
