Aside from Burrow and Daniels, who's the most dramatically improved player you can recall?

I mean, for me now, Burrow and Daniels are 1a and 1b now.

They went from serviceable QBs with obvious potential (but notable flaws) to Heisman Winners.

They corrected their mistakes (I really think Daniels abilities to check down and read the field was some of the most notable improvement I've seen in one season) and really shone because of it.

Who are other players that made that similar leap?

Who will make that leap this season (if anyone)?

I think Mathieu (albeit truncated) made that level leap. Shame he couldn't see it though.

Also remember Brad Wing having that extra oomph that last year.

Hoping we have some candidates we'll fondly remember on this year's squad,

Who are your picks?

Clark is a great answer. It was so frustrating watching him his junior year. He made a huge jump.

Chase
Jarvis Landry
Patrick Queen

All went from seldom used to superstars in one season.

Brian Thomas Jr went from a 300 yard receiver to 1,100 yards / 17 TDs and a 1st round pick.

Greedy Williams pops into my head.

Sort of different I guess, but went from not playing a snap in 2016 to one of the best CBs in college football in 2017.

Stevan Ridley went from 180 yards to 1100 yards his last season.

Improved while at LSU or improved overall?

Gotta go with Danny McCray or Omar Speights.

Or maybe Michael Brockers

Or who was that 5* DL (or maybe OL) from a little school I think is SWLA that had like a 10 year NFL career after doing almost nothing at LSU?

Michael Brockers

Only played his red shirt Freshman year and Sophomore year. Then he was picked 14th overall in the 1st round by the Rams.

So he was probably pretty good at LSU.

Excellent Example

I think CEH went from almost an afterthought to drafted high as well.

Sort of a rising tide phenomenon

Burrow made a bigger jump than Daniels. But the question was besides them.

Year over year improvement.

I kind of used Burrow and Daniels as an example because of the stark improvement. I mean think of their heisman odds after their first years to when they won

I messed up on Brockers... I'm confusing him with someone else.

Who was a guy that was a DL at LSU and not overly impressive, but switched to OL in the league and had a long career?

Heck it might be the same guy I'm thinking of tin the other post.
