The best and brightest of our work force has stood up to Dunkie and demanded $25 an hour and better a host of other worthwhile endeavors.

She can always go to Krispy Kreme where a dozen donuts is now $20 bucks.

Midlands girl here... my nearest Dunkin' donuts is run by chain-smoking, unhygienic trailer trash that sells old arse product even first thing in the morning. Couldn't pay me to eat their donuts.

The Krispy Kreme's, however, are run by competent workers and the product is so fresh you can watch it get washed in that yummy liquid sugar on the rollers.

I don't eat donuts much... but KK all the way when I just have to have some (or when family comes to visit).

Eff Dunkin... let'em strike.

Is that the same company that makes Duncan Hines cake mixes?

I'd have been careful of balance in hiring them... gotta watch out for pot stirrers!

Slinging donuts at DD isn't supposed to be a career... it should be a job for youngsters learning the ropes of how to get and stay employed.

What does a DEI policy do at a donut shop?

The very existence of such a societal delusion empowers idjits to think their work or time is more special than it really is.

These asshats are demanding "dignity" .... in a donut shop of all places. They're slinging fried dough, not solving the AIDS crisis or world hunger.

You work for a paycheck, experience and hopefully a good reference... not "dignity". Dignity is something you have or don't- it can't be given to you. People used to understand that.

She's demanding a seat at the table.

Looks like she's already had a seat at the table.

Well... I'm guessing they are upset because they don't own the shop or manage it. There's not a lot of upward mobility at a small donut store, I would imagine.

Once you've had a butter krisp on 190 in Covington there are no other donuts to be had.

Well how else is an obese black chick that can barely read suppose to move up to district manager without a policy that places skin color and gheyness over actual work skills?
