Street Cop Training - This is a window into why Policing in America is complete shite

Before 9 states finally said, WTF and banned these mother frickers from training their cops, states across the nation had hired them to train thousands of officers. Which, of course, means that thousands of the cops you or I might interact with, got this bullshite "training" which amounts to "do whatever you fricking want, you're a cop" kind of attitudes. I mean shite, the people IN CHARGE of this training are former cops who were either fired or disciplined for shitty policing before doing this job. That's certainly who we want teaching other cops!!!!
The good news is, the company has filed Chapter 11. However, the bad news is, they're STILL in business and STILL list upcoming courses meaning some places are still using these pieces of shite to train their cops.

Probably 98% of cops have no training from this company or any similar one. You’re wrong about this being how most cops are trained.

What is the name of the company and what states were involved?

Street Cop Training and probably almost all states. They had online training as well.

i think all states by now have a law enforcement board that sets standards on what goes into police academy curriculums. each academy probably has to have their curriculum approved in advance. some states are better than others.

This private company trained 25,000 of 30,000 cops nationally was the claim? Maybe he said “to”
There are between 700,000 to 800,000 law enforcement officers nationally.
This “course” is equivalent to 3% of all cops reading the same book with sketchy information.
No need to get worked up over it.

“The Civil Rights Lawyer” that dude would definitely have an unbiased opinion of the police right? No way he’s got an agenda. Looks like he got you all in your feels for clicks

Go watch the Youtube videos of Cops trying to arrest the heathen dysfunctional sociopaths and realize that they are all that stands in between you and said heathen. The sad truth is that either the dysfunctionals are allowed to bring their dysfunction into the greater society, or they are violently met with superior force and prevented from doing so. It's either/or. And to the degree that society allows psychologically afflicted people to accost those who carry the load in maintaining a civil and prosperous society, to that degree civil society will demand that their Cops drop the hammer.
The problem with this is if one creates a ferocious guard dog, said dog may turn on its master under particular scenarios. An alternative is to encourage self protection, I.e., 'vigilantism'. Or as has been the recent historical and societal norm, civil people just move away from the heathen. Albeit the Left's DEI policy pushes the Dysfunctionals into the civil areas for the sake of 'equity' and 'inclusion'. That is a recipe for 'wailing and gnashing of teeth', and total 'cleansing', sooner or later.
This is not rocket science; overly aggressive Cops are just a symptom of a bigger problem. Unless good people would rather defend themselves, and become hands on in the ugly and bloody 'sausage making'. And given the open border immigration of MILLIONS of Dysfunctionals, it will get a lot worse before getting better. Authoritarian governance is in the pipeline. Muh Dictator as it were.
When Human wisdom fails, Darwin/Mother Nature rules.

you'll like this son, in 2006 i'm coming back from desert ridge mall in north phoenix, it's a gorgeous day in march, high in the 70's not a cloud in the sky, i've got the top down on my wife's honda S2000 i'm going up tatum it's a 9 mile 4 lane stretch of road between north phoenix and cave creek across open desert and i'm flying up it.about a 100 yards from leaving phoenix jurisdiction and crossing into maricopa county i get pulled over a phoenix police officer. he walks up to the car and asked me if i knew how fast i was going. i told him "that depends on where you tagged me, if you got me about a mile back i was probably doing better than 100" he laughed and asked me why i was going so fast? my reply was " because i'm an idiot and this car likes to go fast, why would sell me a car that goes this fast when the speed limits are so low" he laughed and told he'd run my license and tags and if i was clean he'd let me off with a warning which is what he did.
the problem with people like you is that you lie, your insurance is expired, your registration is lapsed, if it cost a nickle to schit you'd have to throw up, you've got an outstanding warrant and every traffic stop for you is a trip to jail and that pisses cops off.
if you lived your life right you have to worry about being carted off to jail for every minor traffic infraction.
as my mother in law used to say poor folks have got poor ways

Not sure how you live your life, but I interact with cops maybe three times a year when I go to public events. And even then, I’m simply walking by them. Otherwise, my only interaction is passing them on the road. In my truck. So while this video may be disturbing, it has little to no effect on me personally. Enjoy your outage though.

Retiring officers should teach at police academies and pass their knowledge onto new recruits and teach them how to talk and listen to people.
Posted on 7/19/25 at 9:16 am to HeadSlash
a retiring officer would only teach them bad habits. like learn to be the second unit to the call because the first unit there gets to do the report.

I said it's a window into. Not that most people got trained by them. But here's what the fact that it was as widespread as it was tells me. It was obviously considered acceptable. A large enough number went through the training without saying a damn word despite the fact that the training is absolutely vile.
If the overwhelming majority of police officers had any sense of decency these people would have been outed the first time they held a class with more than 100 people. But they managed to go for years without a single police officer saying a damn thing. And they did it in multiple States.
To somebody's credit apparently the story of their training did get leaked finally by at least one decent police officer who recognized the problem. But the bottom line is a large number of people in leadership positions reviewed this training and then paid taxpayer dollars to send their cops to receive it. So it's nice that the training has been banned in multiple States but it's still not gone and as soon as I can tell not a single person who decided to pay these assholes got in trouble for the idiotic decision

Lol. No. Not even remotely everything. And my deal with cops is the same deal I have with trusting government. As a conservative who recognizes that government can't be trusted I also recognize that the tip of the spear of government should be watched closely too. I'm frankly befuddled that the same conservatives who recognized that the welfare office can't be trusted trust the police implicitly. They work for the same people dummies!
