Anyone planning on seeing Eddington?

Currently sitting at fresh scores within the 60s on RT, but looks to be as divisive as predicted. I might take a chance and check it out and see what side of the isle will be upset by it the most.

Was planning on going at 4 for the premiere thursday but the Fiance' wanted me to wait for her to see it because she loves Pascal. Will have to wait until next week

It’s not good. It’s an hour too long and the story sucks

I would give it a chance, but it's not for everyone.
If you get easily offended by being poked at politically then you probably will turtle up and not like it after a few parts. And that statement applies to those on both sides of the aisle.

I haven't seen it yet but from the reviews I've seen, I think this movie would probably have a broader appeal if it came out like 5 to 10 years later

This is right up my alley. I appreciate good needling on my views but I want balls and strikes.
There were assholes on both sides of Covid insanity and plenty of skewering to go around.

what's the deal with this guy? I mean, he's ok, but he's in seemingly everything.
Reminds me of 10 years ago when Hollywood decided to put Benedict Cumberbatch in everything

I tried to see it last night. After sitting in my seat I realized what I thought were preview trailers was actually the end of Mission Impossible. I go back to the lobby and they explain that there was a power outage and movie times were pushed back by about an hour. I left.

Talk about a spoiler. Have you watched MI yet?

That's good to hear. I'm totally fine with pointing out the crazy on both sides. I'll have to grab a ticket for tomorrow.

I’m sure it will be very fair to conservatives***

Just got out. I enjoyed it but it's far too long. He really needs cut his films down. I feel the same as I did watching Beau is Afraid. There's some great stuff here, and other stuff (butler's story) that wasn't needed.
This movie doesn't pick a side, it calls out everyone. The BLM stuff is hilarious. I can see why so many critics are hating on it.
