I had to look up "ultra-pasteurized". Hadn't come across that term before. Familiar with rum however.

Have you noticed a difference in flavor with different liquors? Obviously a minor taste with rum v bourbon, but personally the eggnog is strong enough to cover most of the flavor of the bourbon I’d think just using some cheape Beam or Rum would be fine?

A girl gave me a big jar of really good nog that we doled out over a year. Was good to the last drop.
She gave us two more jars last January, and they’re staying sealed up in the fridge until this Christmas.
