He is straight arse and I believe every single one of us on here called it

The NFL obsession with “I can fix him” is hilarious to watch unfold in real time. They’ll never learn from it either

Also, lmao at idiots buying his rookie cards for thousands upon thousands of dollars

I was floored when he was getting all that draft buzz and ended up going that high, but damn, I didn’t realize he sucked in high school too

Unbelievable. Just shows how having the textbook physical makeup can totally blind scouts.

It reminds me of a basketball player named Cam Reddish who was a top 10 recruit, went to Duke, and was drafted as the 10th pick after his freshman year.

Yet if you look at his stats, besides free throw shooting (which he doesn’t do much of since since he is mostly a catch and shoot player), he is quite mediocre. A sub 40 percent shooter and sub 33 percent threw point shooter who doesn’t excel at anything else, either. Even his high school senior year stats aren’t that impressive.

Once some recruiting analysts or scouts think you have the right look, and you don’t screw up in your personal life or get into feuds with coaches, it’s amazing how far you can go.

Not as bad as it was 30-40 years ago, but it’s still incredible

This is an awful comparison, to be fair. You’re hoping the 10th pick in the NBA draft can be a good rotation player for you, which Reddish is

He’s going to play more than a decade in the league. Anthony Richardson was drafted 4th overall and may be out of the league after his rookie contract

Reddish shot 36 percent from the field and 33 percent as a college freshman and got drafted 10th overall as a shooter.

He is 40 and 32 shooter in the NBA.

I can’t find his stats on MaxPreps anymore, but I remember looking them up one day after he had a bad stretch of games, and he was something like a 42 and 29 shooter in high school.

Reddish was drafted 10th overall with that resume and no one questioned it.

Fwiw Reddish has been on 4 teams in 6 years and no one has signed him yet this summer. He’s clearly made a fantastic rookie salary, but the last two years he played on the vet minimum. That is certainly not what a top 10 pick (or the team picking him) expects.

Richardson has a bad resume as well and was drafted 4th overall. I remember most people thought of it as a reach, but some thought it was a good pick and a few even experts went against the grain and claimed it was a steal

Clearly he hasn’t panned out so far.

I've said it in probably every thread that brings him up but anyone that watched him play at Florida knew he was awful.

He was drafted solely on his body

This is the most damning thing about him. No team wants a player like that, especially one that's supposed to be in a leadership position. I've never seen anything like it.

Nope. Called him being arse when he was drafted.

Of course you dont understand the difference between taking a project #1 overall or with one of the last picks in the draft though. Because you somehow find a way to be wrong about everything.

Normally I’d agree with you, but I think the most damning thing about him is completes less than half of his passes and throws it to the other team at a higher rate than throws for touchdowns

Richardson looked like the next coming of Cam Newton in Florida's game against USF, but looked awful in every other game he has played in.

Have some friends who watch little college but love the NFL. I tried to tell them Richardson was awful. They’d always laugh and say I guess all of these NFL franchises that would love to be able to draft him don’t know what they’re talking about.

Yeah, NFL front offices are retarded sometimes
