I know Community and some other LA based coffee companies get a lot of love on here.

Just seeing if anyone appreciates Folgers. I feel a lot of people don’t even know it’s produced in New Orleans.

Once the coffee plant roasts the beans to a char, they all seem to taste the same.

The Folgers plant in New Orleans roasts beans for lots of brands (like Dunkin) besides just Folgers

That said, Folgers is bad coffee

Folgers is for caffeine consumption, not actual quality coffee taste.

The Breakfast Blend is my go to. No, I do not want to buy 50% less for 2x more of some designer slop brand.

Black silk is good but I was also a fan of Cafe Bustelo but since Folgers (aka Smuckers) bought it never tasted the same

It might be underrated as compared to Community, which is also not very good.

I get a healthy dose of Black Silk when I go to my parents.

Outside of some specialty places, Lavazza is my favorite, but I will drink other brands too. The Folger's Black Silk is not bad.

I typically wait for the grocery story to run a special, then buy a couple of bags, particularly Lavazza, Gevalia, and Community,

We have Folger's at work. Only good thing about it is that it's free. Gimme Community any day of the week...
