It was all the craze when there was just a few of them in major cities. Now there’s one in every town across America. Not sure what the long term allure is.

Actual golfers don’t care for it, and once amateurs go a time or two it’s no longer worth the price of admission.

Who is still going to Top Golf?

I agree. Top golf has never been fun. It's expensive. The games aren't playable for novice golfers. The food is below average. Without corporate "team building" events they wouldn't have even lasted this long.

Full Year 2024 (12 months ending Dec 31, 2024): $1.8 billion. This represents a 5% increase compared to 2023, primarily driven by new venue additions. However, same-venue sales decreased by 9% during the same period.

It's just ridiculously overpriced for what it is. I have been 3 times in the past 5 years, always on the company dime.

If you go with 4 people for 2 hours, which is more than enough time, it’s like $30/person plus whatever food and drinks you buy. What are you doing for less than that?

We brought our interns to Topgolf last week out in Katy, Texas, it was a Thursday night, and the place was completely packed

My company takes us there for work outings. I’m not a fan and wouldn’t go in my own, but we have fun.
It’s an especially nice option in the summer with this heat.

Here in Knoxville half price days were just on Tuesdays, now it's Monday -Thursday.

It has definitely lost it's luster.

I'm a golfer and have never been to one. Never had any appeal for me at all. Had a vendor that wanted our shipping business about 10-12 years ago invite me and when I said I didn't have time he looked at me like I had turned down a trip to the moon.

I appreciated the invite but not my thing.

I think this is the bigger issue.

It is being propped up by expansion.

Not really.

Food and drinks can add up pretty quickly but that's the case anywhere you go.

It’s still good. However we have had a few issues with “Popeyes” waitresses. The level of service is so bad. Also it is a bit expensive for a family.

Bro, you live in Austin and can't tell if Top Golf is going to make it? The Top Golf in the Domain is full literally every single night.

The business has been bombing even while golf continues to surge in popularity

Doesn't help that they require a large amount of real estate is high density areas.

They're planning to reinvent themselves with virtual grammar lessons.

Exponentially more expensive than going to Top Golf. You can’t be this dumb
