Checking with the OT experts to see if anyone has one of these or has any experience with one. Seems reasonably priced to me. Looking to add a small trailer down the road a ways, but I don't think I need a tundra or 2500.

Appreciate any information, thanks!

Also, boobs:

Probably need more info on this angle.
Toyota makes good vehicles.
Don’t know much about the 4 cylinder if it has one.
The trans on the 6 was often confused when towing so I hear.

I just watched a video saying this was the first year of a redesign, so that may be a mark against it.

The towing angle is a small ( < 30 ft.) camper around the western US. But that could be several years down the road still.

I’ve got a 2022 TRD off road and I would not want to pull a 30ft camper with it. It struggles to pull our 30hp tractor and that would be around a quarter of the weight of a camper.

Love the truck though no real complaints.

That backseat legroom is a HUGE no.

Any 4cyl pickup would be hard pass, unless for extremely specific circumstances.

If you're going to tow anything beyond a garden trailer, get a 1/2 ton.

They've changed to 4 cylinder engines...no more v6 Tacomas. If you want a v6, you need to search hard for a 23 model with low miles.

I have a 25 TRD PRO and love it. It's my 4th Tacoma and by far the best one yet. The PRO has shocks on the seats that encroaches on the rear passenger leg room - fine with me because no one sits in the back anyway. If it is not a pro, then the rear seat leg room is not an issue.

Did not realize. No wonder the price seemed so reasonable. I'll give the 23's a look. Thanks for the information.

Got a 2022 V6… didn’t realize they changed to 4 cylinder. Definitely will opt for something else when this one’s done

Anybody got any alternatives they like?

I can drop the towing requirement for now. It's years down the road and could not even happen, so a mid-size truck could be fine. I don't like not having at least a V6 though.

I drive a gen 2 Tacoma with 305k and counting. I’d look at the Frontier if I were replacing. Yota has killed what was the Tacoma imo.

Better verify the towing and storage capacity of that trailer to be able to handle these

You are definitely gonna want something bigger than the 2.4L 4 cylinder if you're gonna tow a 30ft camper. It is probably under the advertised towing capacity kf the Tacoma, but it wouldn't be fun at all.

I have a ‘24 Honda Ridgeline,V6,5,000 lb.towing capacity(all I need).
Rides like a dream, rear seat leg room is good.

Have to be confident in your masculinity to drive it.

I had a 2010 Tacoma 4wd I drove for long time, passed it down to grandson.Have never had any trouble with it,still going strong.I intended to buy another Tacoma but I wasn’t thrilled about the 4 cyl with turbocharger.

I looked and test drove the Ridgeline, glad I bought it.
