I’ll be in Boulder for about 48 hours and would like to hike a trail or two. Anyone know any good places in or very near Boulder?

Bear spray baw. Works on mtn lions too. Keep your head on a swivel and look behind you.

Bear Peak? Not an easy hike, I used to live in the afternoon shadow.
With a little more time, drive up to the Indian Peaks, maybe an hour away. Much nicer. Lots of trails there. I'd rather just drive up and look around there rather than hike very close to Boulder, which is lower elevation, relatively hot, and dusty/dry.

Can’t help you with a trail but have been scouring YouTube looking for some trails to hike next year near the Grand Canyon and just ask YouTube you will find a ton of info.

Chautauqua Park is right on the edge of town, has a ton of options, and plenty of parking. I like Green Mountain via Gregory Canyon. The Flatirons are really cool, but can be dangerous if you stumble onto one of the more technical routes.

This is the answer. Hike to the top, take some pics, go to the Sink afterwards.

St Mary's Glacier is about an hour outside of Boulder in Idaho Springs.

Chautauqua as mentioned previously, was awesome.
Heard meriams turkey's gobble when i was there. Super cool hearing them in the mountains.
Also, if going on a weekend, it will be packed. Reminded me of Delacroix on a weekend with good weather in the fall when trout are a stones throw away.
