I have some good stories for parties. This isn’t a party it’s a commitment announcement in which the player doesn’t actually have to commit. Sign a contract today and I’d be on board.

It’s such a dumb take though
It is recruiting and it is fluid. Sometimes it sucks, but it is fun to follow during the summer. Nothing else LSU related. Anyone who doesn’t get a little excited about a top 50 player committing is so absurd

Used to be one of the most fun things about college football, the recruiting and the offseason getting excited over a future potential star.

I use to follow recruiting religiously but now it has become such a shite show I just wait until they sign the dotted line and try to figure out what we got.
Then you have to check to see what you lost to the portal.
I’ve gotten less and less interest in college sports as this money grab goes on.

I agree. What I like to do is when something positive happens for the team I route for, enjoy watching, and spend money on is to come here and bitch.
Like frick you LSU baseball for winning the national championship, you delayed next years recruiting class. frick you LSU for getting a top 5 rush edge to commit in July. You’re so stupid for not getting him to commit to another school and not letting me bitch about we are missing out on recruits.

The only thing is with that Nancy is the way things go now, recruits know where they are and how much money they’re going to get per school, so there shouldn’t be any surprises. I know we’ve had a few decommit, but once the summer hits, 70 to 80 maybe even 90% of them are locked in.
