Do we get the letdown DAT’ers are predicting with the Rockies? Nah, we’re gonna get more

Week in review:
- MLB's best record in June (19-7); 3rd MLB team to reach 50 wins
- 5-1 vs Phillies and Cubs. Both first place teams
- Pitching, minus Lance, was absolutely phenomenal this week. Easily the best we have seen this season
- Latte Lance sucks. In his 3 games vs teams with winning record he is: 8IP 17ER 10BB
- Cocksuck was 3-20 this week. Get this baw a tennis racket
- Cam Smith dropped his nuts on the Cubs. 4-8 2HR 5RBIs
- Frambaw has the most wins of any starting pitcher since 2020 (68)
- Believe it or not, the medical staff fricked up again
- Chandler if you're reading this, you're still a bitch
Injury updates:
- JP3: broken ribs. 15-day IL. Expect after all-star break
- Yordan: Has started live ABs. Has been sent to Palm Beach for work
- Dezenzo: n/a. Has not picked up a bat
- Chas: sent to Palm Beach for work
- Melton: no updates since ankle sprain
- Spaghetti: has thrown 2 live bullpen sessions. Expected to have a rehab assignment or two
- Luis Garcia: 1 bullpen session. 2nd one scheduled for this week
- Javier: 1 bullpen session. 2nd one scheduled for this week
- Dubin: forearm strain. No update
Roster moves:
- JP3 15-day IL
- Shawn Dubin 15-Day IL
- Shay Whitcomb called back up
- Nick Hernandez sent back down
Looking ahead:
Beginning of a 9-game stretch

I am in fact mentally prepared to drop the series to the Rockies.

And now, a special dedication going out across the airwaves on this week’s American Top 40. This one’s from High C in DATville, sending heartfelt wishes to Jeremy, who’s nursing a fractured rib down there in the Lone Star State. He writes:
Dear Casey,
I feel so bad for Jeremy, who was having a career year until a freak accident at work. I want him to know I'm rooting for a speedy recovery so he can get back on the field stronger than ever. To lift those spirits and get that healing energy flowing, play something uplifting for the new best player on my favorite baseball team."
And for High C, we picked a perfect track—a song that’s all about getting moving and feeling great. It’s Olivia Newton-John with her chart-topping hit from 1981, “Physical.” So, Jeremy, here’s to you—get well soon, and let’s get physical!

You can never go wrong with Olivia. I’m currently wearing a Metallica t-shirt, but 70’s/early 80’s soft rock (yacht rock, as the young’ins say) is part of my music DNA.
Maybe Olivia can reach from beyond the grave and put a healing finger on Jeremy’s rib. Magic.

Happy July baws
Let’s get through the month playing .500 ball then August and September we could ideally have a healthy lineup (lol yeah right) and even some pitching help (looking at you Javier)
We are nearing the best part of the year for the DAT: trade szn

Should be worth the watch tonight to see Dubon roll up into the box with his nuts in a wheelbarrow ready to show the World all of his power
I predict his flyout to groundout ratio for the series to be 11 to 1
And for once, with probable good cause
And....... he'll do it in 12 pitches

Dubon's arms get tired just watching a Paredes at bat.
Posted on 7/1/25 at 12:35 pm to Jwho77
Scientific studies have showed that Dubon could ground out 12 times during during the span of 1 Paredes at bat.

Altuve just took 12 swings while you typed that out.

Were any of the pitches strikes?

I think we win 2 of 3....but the loss will be some schmuck with an ERA north of 6 holding us to 1 run over 7 innings.
